okay, this is weird. yesterday I tried a zillion times to open my xanga site, it couldn't load at all. And when it loaded, I couldn't post new entries. So I thought my xanga site screwed up or something.

But I already switched back to my old blog site=) and I think I like it there better =D

#thirty-nineee|toothless.

hello

as you would have known, I extracted two of my teeth yesterday.and it feels really weird. LOL. and i'm eating chocolate now, and it's such a stupid decision. cause now I can't bite it properly, keeps going into the two holes. OUCH haha, and it's cadbury blackforest, it has those jelly bits, and I CAN'T EAT IT PROPERLY. gah.

so on friday night, we had our second G²EMS sleepover at my house=) first one wasn't really a G²EMS one, haha! we hadn't thought of a name yet. HAHAHA! it was fun! haha! we played sudoku, ate chips, gossiped talked, went to look at blogshops, camwhored like crazaye (took almost 300 in total, haha), did our nails, ate macs. HAHAHA!

oh, and it was hilarious when E walked into the sliding door X)

M couldn't stay over cause she had tuition the next day=(
but oh well. we can always have more! =DD

ohoh, fyi, I'm watching memoirs of a geisha now. HAHA! the kid is so chioooo! nice eyes. haha, never watched it before lah X)

anyways, back to topic.
the next day, we went swimming! HAHA! it was bloody fun, sun tanning and all. but the sun wasn't out for long, so we didn't get that tanned. lol. I LOVE MY CAMERA! because it can take pictures underwater! so we took a lot! haha! and all those underwater shots are EPIC! haha! took some random videos too, hopefully I can upload them soon! then E left for PlayMax, and G² and I went to Central and ate Billy Bombers=) and the funny thing was out of the 10+ songs we heard there, I could like sing the tune of more than half of them. HAHAHA! oldies are nice okay! after eating, we rushed to the mrt station, cause I was running late for my dental appointment. HAHA! okay, I have no sense of time=)
Gen had to alight at aljunied so Gwen and I alighted at Paya Lebar and cabbed to the dental clinic. HAHA! it was pretty stupid, because the meter only jumped once. it was THAT near. LOL. but I didn't know how to walk there. HAHA!
and so, I had my mould done, photos taken, and then I was sent to another dentist to extract my teeth.

#thirty-six|emotionally unstable

what a day.

I woke up to find myself having a really huge blister on my right toe and I ended up going to school in slippers.

Today, the three sessions of lessons passed really s l o w l y.

At 1230, I started getting anxious for veejay's DSA. At 1, we went to the music room to do some pre-warmups. It was a horrible move. I tried reaching a C and my throat got all gaoihdaishdknz.

Then we cabbed down to VJ and hung around for awhile before heading in to the reporting place. So we waited and waited and waited. And waited.

Finally it was Tanjong Katong Secondary School's turn. And guess what?

I was the first.

So I walked into the other lecture room to face Mr Kwei and he started playing this scale. I couldn't really hear it cause my heart was like seriously pounding in my ears. Took me awhile to open my mouth and sing. Then he did a few more scales and it was over. Then, went for the interview, which was kinda casual, asking standard questions which I gave crappy answers to.

All in all, today was an all right day

EXCEPT for the horrible fact that I sounded like a totally croaking, straining, half-dead toad who was totally singing every note flat during the auditions.

and round one was about pitching.
what a terrific job sandy.
I mean, VJ sops' voices are never throaty, never straining and are always crystal-clear.
What was I thinking?

the only chance to prove myself; and i screwed it up.
now my chances of getting into VJ just dropped, not that significantly, from 1% to 0%.
how nice.

hey there
today I went home to find Cloudy running around the house. LOL. and this isn't the first time. haha! think my mum didn't close the opening on the top of the cage and curious Cloudy climbed out from there. haha!

okay and I finally uploaded this video. HAHAHA! my class guys playing SQUASH in class

Had inter-class net ball matches today, and HAH, we got third=) we did quite well okay, given the fact that our class have no netballers and that the top two classes had like at least 3 netballers. hehe

Oh yea, and the other day, after volleyball, the skin on my left toe tore right, now it's the right toe. HAHAHA!

ooh and I just found out how to post photos in the larger sizes. HAHA! I click them, not drag them. HAHA! shall go enlarge my other photos when I have the time! haha=)

man, it sucks to have my class called A, because we can't have any nick! like B can be BEE, D can be DEE, G can be GEE, K can be KAY, H can be HAGE blah blah blah. HAHA! the only thing I can think of is A for EHHHH. lol

anyways, finished sexual reproduction in plants today, and I'm totally lost. HAHAHA! so we were learning on self-pollination and cross-pollination and then Ms Tan shot us a question, " What will happen when a pollen grain from a rose lands on an orchid? " then there was like silence for a while and then Heng Kiat shouted, " ORCHROSE!"

LOL, it certainly woke some people up. haha! but the answer is NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. haha, cause apparently pollination only occurs within plants of the same species. Self-pollination is when the pollen grains land on the stigma of a flower on a same plant and cross-pollination is when the pollen grains land on the stigma on a flower of another plant of the same species. I think.......

like seriously I was kinda lost. HAHAHAHA! heh, we're going to learn sexual reproduction in humans when school reopens. HAHAHA! so cool right? lol, and I'll get even more confused. Zzz. but who cares! it'll be fun i guess=)

i figured that it wasn't really nice always starting my post without greetings so yea, HEYYYYYY(:
i was REALLY REALLY bored just now so i went to google some images of three dogs which i must have in future. HAHAHA!

MALTESE! omg, i love them=) all my past three dogs i had were maltese- sky, snowy, cookie! my first was actually a japanese spitz i think. i really liked that breed, until i thought that they looked like promenarians=( somehow the sharp nose makes me feel funny. haha! ALASKA MALAMUTE! loved them after watching 8 below, or was it below 8. aiya you get the point! i mean i never really went to find out what's the difference between this and the husky, but alaska malamute sounds so much coooooler =D

well, i intend to get cats too. HAHA! maybe other dogs too=) i think my future house will be like a little zoo. HAHA! that's why i don't see myself living in Singapore.

And i want rabbits too! aren't they cute? like teletubbies. HAHAHA!

THAT'S WHY I CAN'T MARRY SOMEONE WHO HATES ANIMALS. gah.

I AM AGAINST ANIMAL ABUSE.

so don't go thinking that i am some girl who is crazy over cute stuff and buys cute animals on impulse and then those cute animals will be totally neglected and i will stop feeding them and playing with them and i will later leave them on the street to die.

horrible right? and to think there are a lot of people out there who are like that. sigh, anyways, i think i brought this up before. HAHAHA. well you get the point. SEE THE POINT --------> .

anyways, WHAT A HOT DAY.
after school, meri, gen and I went to VJC to submit my DSA form. I heard that Mr Kwei mentioned that only two people from teekay are gonna get selected to VJ; most prolly Jeslyn and Dean. so what's the point of going anyways -__-" FOR FUN LAH=D no harm trying right:D
then meri went to meet her dearest clement and gen and I left for Parkway after submitting my DSA stuff.
Went to eat MOS because I had this sudden craving. but after we got there, I didn't know what to eat. AHAHA! then something in my head said, " clam chowder " and so I ordered clam chowder. haha!

man, when i was walking home, the sun was glaring at me but apparently I wasn't sweating. but when I got home, the sweat came. oh my tian, i was like sweating non-stop and after much consideration, I decided to go for a dip in the pool. HAHAHA! it was kinda fun, but i was alone, so it was like Zzz.
somehow i felt like i was diving again! ahaha, except for the facts that:
1) the water wasn't salty, it was chlorine-nated.
2) the water was clear and you could see the bottom, not dark blue and you can't even touch the bottom.
3) there were no marine life! LOL.
4) I wasn't wearing a suit.
5) I wasn't carrying an ultra heavy oxygen tank which my life largely depended on under the sea.
6) I wasn't wearing flippers.
7) I didn't have the fear that I could possibly get bitten or stung by some poisonous sea creature and that I could die.

HAHA.

but man, diving was really fun! you should go try it=) somehow after not having the chance to dive for so long, I think I would suck so badly now at diving. it's not like i rocked anyways. HAHA! but it's like math. when you first learn it, you rock at it then as you stop practicing, you will suck at it. HAHA=)

SINGAPORE OR AUSTRALIA?!?!?!?!

I would love to stay in Singapore, but i would love to go to Australia too!

sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh stress.

and you know how it sucks to have RELATIVE pressure? not family, family is like DUH! obviously. but relatives? like whudd...? I mean not like I'm badmouthing or dissing them or what, but OMGOMG, why must they stick their noses into my life! It's not like i'm very close to them or what, yea close to THEIR children, but not THEM. They go like, STAY STAY STAY in Singapore. You can't take care of yourself, can't wash your own laundry, can't cook, can't do this can't do that. blah blah blah. FYI, I CAN COOK, I CAN DO MY OWN LAUNDRY, I CAN IRON BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm not as useless as you WANT ME TO BE. I'm just lazy. Don't go around condemning me and my mother for WHAT YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE. Geez. So what if my mum is different? being different doesn't mean that she is a bad mum right? look at me, do I look badly brought up to you? am I taking drugs? NO. am I smoking? NO. am I having underage sex? NO. am I doing other illegal stuff? NO NO NO NO. maybe venting my stress that you, relatives, have given me is somewhat illegal.
AH BUMMER back to topic!
And when I really DECIDE FOR MYSELF to stay in Singapore, they will OBVIOUSLY go like, NEH see, I told you to stay, lucky you never go overseas blah blah blah. but when I DECIDE to go to AUSTRALIA and graduate IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE, my mother and I will go, NEH HEHEHEHE SEE, lucky I went overseas and never listen to you.
And it's really stressful having to hear them talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk about this issue. I'm just so tired of other people telling me what to do already. Family is okay, like mummy, papa, my bestest uncle, that I will take into consideration. XIAOJIE, if you are reading this, no offence kay! I mean it's really very tiring already =( even if they don't say it in front of me, I can still feel it.

okay, just so you know, I am applying for JC but I am still deciding if I should go overseas. The chances are now back to 50-50.
So many other things to say, but aiya, don't feel like =/

GAH. finally said my piece, couldn't really find a suitable person to talk to about this, as in this is like super no link to anything. HAHAA! ( ahem, except for poo, ahem)

anyways, I really love my relatives, I mean they are still my kin right. but just that i feel that this is one of the traits of them that bother me a lot. they like to ask me questions about my mum, and then they start to condemn her, and then they attack me for having a sad childhood because my parents divorced when i was like 4 and my paternal grandad passed away when i was 4 blah blah blah

I don't want them to pity me just because of this nor do I want them to look down on me because I am from a broken family. They always like to attack me for this, like when they are lecturing their children with me around, they will go like, " See, Sandy blah blah blah blah, you must be lucky that you blah blah blah blah, so you must learn to blah blah blah blah. " like why drag me into the picture? and I always have to put up a happy front, like try to smile and show that it's no big deal etc, but c'mon, it still is no matter what, a slightly sensitive issue right? like when I see happy families I will get this sudden feeling that I wished my parents didn't divorce. BUT! I can't really imagine them together now. haha! c'mon man, my mum has a freakin MOHWAK. i mean they look SO much happier so I guess it's better this way! and it's not like I can't see my dad ( living with my mum ) or smth. SO YEA! i'm happy this way too love you guys!

anyways, I hope this post doesn't get to any of my relatives =S or else i will get the NAG again. LOL. but oh well, if I'm ready to post this up, I'm ready to face the consequences! :D

#thiry-threee|you belong with me

yesterday i went to my cousin's house to celebrate my maternal grandma's birthday! don't know why but she suddenly lost A LOT of weight. i mean if you see her now she would look normal to you. but we are so used to seeing her old self that it's so weird to see her so...skinny. i still prefer her old self. she had more class, and looked more sophisticated, now she looks like any other grandmas out there=(( hope she gains weight soon!!

#thirty-two|thinking; deciding.

what a boring day =S
my chinese teacher went to mark our Chinese O levels scripts, so she didn't come to class today. so basically we had one session = one and a half hours of free time. HAHA! the first half and hour was spent talking and reading through some chinese oral topics. and at 12, i totally knocked out. I fell asleep! haha! took me awhile to really drift off and somehow i got awoken by Jeslyn's talking. I tell you, she talks damn bloody loud. HAHA! maybe because she's sitting in front of me lah.
or maybe because her voice is just very nasal and yea. LOL=)
then fell alseep again. haha! until the end of school=) then went to parkway with gwen, gen, merilyn, bryan halim and ryan chin. ate macs, and got a purple cup! haha! then went to cousin's house with gwen to print our DSA forms. haha! and i saw my littlest, cutest cousin!!!
ISN'T HE ADORABLEEEEEE?!!! potential heartbreaker sia =D

So yea, thinking; deciding on something that will change my life.
No, i'm not getting married, not yet. LOL.
After the concert on Wednesday, my mum suddenly asked me if i wanna stay in Singapore instead of going to Australia next year. So she asked me to try for DSA and so i got my forms for obviously MJ, and VJ. but oh my tian, VJ is just wishful thinking can. Like it's so tough! lol. Not saying MJ isn't tough, i mean come on lah, all DSAs are tough. I think i'm just gonna screw up and maybe i should just get in throught merit.

Hmm, maybe i shouldn't be so pessimistic! okay, I'M GONNA PASS DSA I'M GONNA PASS DSA I'M GONNA PASS DSA I'M GONNA PASS DSA I'M GONNA PASS DSA I'M GONNA PASS DSA I'M GONNA PASS DSA.

So after weighing the pros and cons, i think that my options are now 60 stay 40 leave. Because i mean the only bad thing i see about staying is the STRESS. The good things are that 1, i can save money. 2, i can stay with my friends! 3. i can continue singing in a choir. 4. <3 5. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE. HAHAHA! my brain is dead, like hello, it's 1230, maybe not that late lah, but i'm tired! haha. and when i'm tired i can't think properly. you know that word, properly, doesn't even look right. GAH. can't think can't think can't think can't think can't think can't think.

okay, anyways, 4A soccer team vs 4F/B soccer team today, and we lost 1-0. =((
but you all played well!! like what my cousin said, it's all about the fun, not the results:DD

i know this is random, but i just somehow found this lump of skin on my left toe. i think i must have gotten it after playing volleyball just now. HAHA! it was fun though!

kk, need to go catch my Zzz, they are like killing me already! haha. that doesn't even make sense. ah whatever :D

#thirty-one| amusement.

iamtired.

this morning when my alarm rang, i thought i was dreaming or something cause i felt like i only slept for 1 hour. HAHA. The concert last night, An Evening with Handel & Friends, went quite well=) i mean i was expecting myself to screw up or smth, but seems like it was fine. haha! will TRY to upload the very few, sadly=( , photos which my mum helped to take last night=)

today during bio, we finally carried out a dissection! but dang, it wasn't on some heart or lungs or eyeball =( it was on a flower -___-''' because we are learning about sexual reproduction in plants. Gah, i don't really like learning about plants. It's just like confusing, stigma anther petals and pollen grains are like the only pathetic few i can rmb, because that's what we learnt in pri school. AHAHAHA! but i know there's like other stuff like style filament pedical receptacle ovary blah blah blah nectar guide! haha. okay, this is stoopid. haha! but seriously, i really didn't know that there are SO MUCH about flowers that i don't know. how would i know that the ovary contains the ovules and the ovules contain the ovums. like whuddddddd......? haha=)

oh yea, and today i made some new friends! haha, if i didn't remember their names wrongly - Jemimah, Choy, Chia, Travis. All from mj choir =) went to georgina's house ( wait, i still can't spell her name correctly. haha! ) to watch moovies=) watched The Eye first, some hong kong movie, which i was like so bloody scared initially, but later found out it wasn't as scary as i thought it would be. it was actually kinda boring. haha=) but anyways, ezra arrived a little later after we finished the movie. he rented a dvd for us called Amusement, and oh my tian, it totally beats Hide & Seek hands down, even though H&S wasn't that fantastic. it's about this physcho that was made fun of by these 3 girls when he was in elementary school. so when he grew up, he decided to have a little " fun " with them and was like hunting them down like crazy and like aiya i can't explain it. but he is totally a sadist. DON'T READ THIS IF YOU CAN'T STAND GORE. Just scroll down to the next para! =D

like he catches a rat and rip open its skin and hang it with it's skin being held by some wires, exposing EVERYTHING inside, like the lungs, heart, stomach, intestines. like SICK. you should watch it :DD

and to think that the girls had more balls than the guys. HAHAHA! the guys were like hiding behind the pillow like almost the whole time lah! haha=) esp POO who keeps making excuses to deny it. haha!
then we headed down to PP after that for dinner at Mos. and i finally got my hamsters a new running wheel! their old one broke a few days ago and Cloudy was going CRAZZZY, like he was climbing around the cage doing monkey bars and all. LOL. and in the end i think he got depressed=(( but now that i got him a new wheel, he seems happier. haha! BUT, the wheel is like way smaller than the usual one=( but oh well, having one is better than having none at all. haha.

anyways, i'm reallyyyyy tired. and my day starts with chemistry tomorrow. 1 and a half hours of hardcore chemistry, how fun.
anyways, mr tan kee hoe ORDERED us to PLAY HARD during week 3 of June hols, YESSSS! it's not like i will study anyways X) so i'm really looking forward to week 3 :DD
